Cara Brown, M.A., BCBA (Owner)
Cara is a board certified behavior analyst with over 18 years of experience teaching children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities in clinical, residential, and educational settings across Kentucky, Ohio, and Texas. She opened BI&C in the fall of 2012 with the vision of providing families with quality ABA Programming in a clinical setting. Her continued mission is to allow parents, children, and employees to feel like part of a team, creating an ideal environment for learning. She also teaches behavior analysis courses at Miami University-Oxford through the department of Educational Psychology. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family as well as her 3 dogs.
Eva Cavileer M.A., BCBA (Clinical Director) is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 9 years experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities. She has been with BI&C since the opening in 2012 and after receiving her BCBA in 2016, she was made the clinical director of the Montgomery Language Academy. Eva oversees all of the language-based programs and provides our families and RBTS with regular support to ensure quality programming. She enjoys live music, spending time with her family and 10 month old son, and travelling to new places.
Lyndsey Hering, M.A. (Lead Therapist) graduated from the University of Cincinnati in December 2016 and is working towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Lyndsey works closely with the program supervisors and has taken on the role of lead therapist. She aides in the updating of programs and training of newer staff. Lyndsey has worked with children with autism for the past 7 years in the home, clinical, and school settings. Her hobbies include taking her dog, Elie, for hikes, watching foreign films/T.V. shows on Netflix and finding new music to jam to. Lyndsey's longtime dream is to own goats and a plethora of other animals of her own, preferably on a small farm.
Carrie Standley, RBT is originally from California and graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a degree from the College of Health and Human Services. She has worked in general and special education classrooms for the past fifteen years and has been with BI&C the past four years. She currently lives in Mt. Lookout with her husband and three children. She enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Marissa Watson attended the University of Cincinnati and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is the youngest of three by eight and twelve years, so she became an aunt at an early age. That’s when she realized she wanted to work with children. She started working with children at a daycare and went on to nanny full-time until starting at BI&C. In Marissa’s free time, she enjoys going to concerts, spending time with friends and loves a yummy brunch.
Amy Hoeweler-Pedoto graduated from The University of Cincinnati in 2017 with a BA in Psychology and is currently a Graduate Student at The University of Cincinnati, working toward her BCBA license. She has 6 years of experience working in community mental health and has experience volunteering at a local school for children with learning differences. Amy is from Cincinnati and lives in Mason, Ohio with her husband and four children. She loves traveling to Disney World with her family and considers BI&C the second happiest place on earth.
Brianna Murtha-Zee, RBT is originally from California, but went to school in the Midwest. She got her bachelor’s degree in human development and social relations from Earlham College in Indiana. She taught preschool for several years before learning about ABA. After seeing how beneficial it is, she spent the past three years working as a behavior therapist, focusing on early intervention. She also enjoys hiking with her puppy, concerts, and gardening.
